If you’ve been struggling with focus, organisation, or emotional overwhelm, an ADHD assessment can provide clarity. Understanding whether ADHD explains your experiences can help you make sense of your challenges and take steps toward personalised support and treatment.
Our process starts with an initial screening session to determine whether ADHD is likely. If you proceed, we’ll complete a 3-hour diagnostic interview over Zoom (spread across several sessions) to fully explore your experiences. This includes gathering insights from someone who knows you well (if possible) and providing a detailed diagnostic report with recommendations.
Private assessments offer faster results, personalised care, and a comprehensive understanding of your challenges. You’ll gain a clear diagnosis (if applicable), a tailored support plan, and access to additional resources like The ADHD Club to help you thrive.
Private ADHD assessments are priced higher because they provide a faster, more personalised service than the NHS. The cost reflects the time and expertise involved, including thorough interviews, report writing, and ongoing support recommendations. At The Thomas Connection, our package includes everything from screening to the diagnostic report and next steps.
After your assessment, you’ll receive a detailed report explaining our findings and recommendations. We’ll work with you to build a personalised support plan, which may include therapy, medication referrals, or ongoing support through The ADHD Club. If appropriate, you can also share the report with your NHS provider to request shared care for treatment.
At The Thomas Connection, our initial screening session is £250, and the full diagnostic assessment package is £2000. This includes everything from interviews to the diagnostic report and recommendations.
In most cases, private ADHD diagnoses are recognised by the NHS. We’ll provide a diagnostic report that you can share with your GP to request shared care for ongoing treatment.
