Hi there!
I’m Michaela, I’m a Clinical Psychologist, bestselling author and host of an award winning top 2% podcast and winner of the Inspirational Modern Woman of the year 2024.
How have I reached all of those achievements? By hard graft and pushing myself? No.
By accepting that I have an ADHD brain, that I’m differently wired in terms of giftedness and that I need things to be SPACIOUS to cope with my work and life. I have embraced support and systems in life and business, and have worked on asking for help when I’m stuck. I am the mother of two delightful whirlwind kids, and in order to be the parent and wife I want to be, my work has to be spacious. I work part-time, and embrace my Swedish roots in how I think of wellbeing at work.
No more lunches al desko and working late, like I did in the NHS – it got me into burnout, twice. Using my compassionate practices and the Pause Purpose Play framework, I have the type of business and marriage partnership which allowed me my own Spacious Adventure to Vietnam in January, for my 40th birthday. I started with giving myself the permission to have a valuable life – and you can show you how you are worthy and deserving of one too.
